1) From USA Today,  ebook was the most popular format for 42 of the top 50 titles on their bestseller list from December 26 to January 1. The previous high, in July, was 25 of the top 50.

2) Romantic Times Magazine has a post about 10 publishers currently accepting manuscripts, including Carina Press and Harlequin Heartwarming. I would add that Love Inspired Historical is also definitely looking for and contracting new writers.

Speaking of Carina Press, if you have a historical romance or historical fiction ready to submit, Carina has a number of historical fans on the acquisition team eager to read it (including moi) :)

3) The New York Times has an article about publishers recommending books similar to Downton Abbey. Did I immediately research a list of Harlequin titles for Downton fans? Yes I did :) If it doesn’t get used on a Harlequin site somewhere soon, I will post it to my Tumblr.
